We are currently seeking a Low Voltage Installer You will strive to provide safe electrical systems for a variety of customers.
Responsibilities:
- General labor and construction work
- Running and bending 1/2", 3/4", 1", 2" Conduit
- Pulling CAT 5E and CAT 6 cable and low voltage wires in a commercial environment
- Installing support structures (ladder rack, racks, j-hooks)
- Provides installation and troubleshooting for a wide range of systems including voice and data, fiber optics, fire alarm, etc.
- Analyzes blueprints effectively for job site knowledge
- Evaluates upcoming tasks and anticipate equipment, procedures, and training needs.
- Demonstrates the ability to complete an overall job layout for projects of limited scope and size.
- Enforces a safe job site and maintains compliance with company safety, OSHA, and customer-specific safety standards.
- Demonstrates excellent customer relations through the utilization of effective problem-solving techniques.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience with installation of low voltage wiring
- Being able to lift up to 50lbs.
- Must have a reliable mode of transportation and valid driver's license with a clean DMV record.
- Have a working knowledge of hand & power tools.
- Be on time, reliable, dependable, & consistent.
- Ability to work both independently and, as a team player, can communicate effectively and work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to communicate with security and IT professionals.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong time and event management skills.
