Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Low Voltage Installer to join our team at FE Controls Corporation.

This role involves providing safe and reliable electrical systems for our customers. As a Low Voltage Installer, you will be responsible for installing and troubleshooting a range of systems, including voice and data, fiber optics, and fire alarm systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform general labor and construction work as required
  • Run and bend conduit of various sizes
  • Pull CAT 5E and CAT 6 cable and low voltage wires in commercial environments
  • Install support structures, including ladder racks and j-hooks
  • Provide installation and troubleshooting services for a wide range of systems
  • Analyze blueprints to gain job site knowledge
  • Evaluate upcoming tasks and anticipate equipment, procedures, and training needs
  • Complete job layouts for projects of limited scope and size
  • Ensure a safe job site and maintain compliance with company safety, OSHA, and customer-specific safety standards
  • Develop excellent customer relations through effective problem-solving techniques

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in low voltage wiring installation
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs
  • Reliable mode of transportation and valid driver's license with a clean DMV record
  • Working knowledge of hand and power tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong time and event management skills
