  Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and implement facility marketing plans, including a minimum of 24 hours per week of calling or meeting with hospital discharge planners, physicians, senior citizen organizations, and/or social service organizations.
  • Make speaking presentations on long-term care, aging or other appropriate topics to local community groups.
  • Conduct facility tours and complete daily admissions process for prospective residents.
  • Prepare weekly reports as required.
  • Promote internal efforts for community relations programs.

Requirements: 

  • Marketing or community relations experience, including knowledge of the healthcare industry.
  • Excellent people skills, including the ability to communicate effectively in writing, verbally, and in public speaking situations.
  • Requires the ability to work independently.
  • Extensive local travel.
