At Circle Logistics, we are looking for a 3PL Account Manager who thrives in a sales-driven environment. If you’re passionate about closing deals, building lasting relationships, and growing your book of business in the dynamic world of logistics, this role is for you. Your focus will be to aggressively develop new business while managing current customers, ensuring their freight is moved efficiently and profitably. Duties/Responsibilities:
- Make outbound calls and establish relationships to build and grow your book of business.
- Close new business and expand relationships with existing customers, offering tailored solutions to move their freight.
- Negotiate pricing with customers and carriers to ensure optimal profit margins and competitive rates.
- Manage daily shipments, including tracking and resolving issues to ensure timely pickup and delivery.
- Provide proactive, transparent communication internally and externally to build trust and ensure customer satisfaction.
Skills/Abilities:
- Availability to work full-time, 100% in-office – we value a strong, collaborative team culture.
- Strong work ethic and drive – a passion for sales and the motivation to outwork the competition.
- Excellent negotiation skills – you know how to find solutions that benefit both the customer and the business.
- Professionalism and conflict resolution skills – capable of managing difficult conversations with diplomacy and tact.
- Entrepreneurial mindset – you're driven to grow your book of business and deliver exceptional customer service.
- Familiarity with logistics technology – ability to quickly learn and navigate tools like TMS and CRM systems.
- College degree preferred, but not required – your ability to sell and deliver results matters more than a diploma.
