Maintenance Planner Scheduler 

3rd shift

55K to 65K with full benefits

Fort Wayne, IN

Required: Maintenance background of 2 years

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Act as local Key User for SAP-PM and the OPRA system
  • Create and maintain maintenance plans for production equipment
  • Check that SAP-PM and OPRA are being used correctly (e.g. correct bookings, confirmations, purchase orders)
  • Train the maintenance employees (e.g. in how to use SAP-PM and OPRA)
  • Ensure master data and documentation in SAP-PM/OPRA are correct
  • Provide local support for SAP-PM and OPRA rollouts
  • Assist maintenance team with any questions regarding SAP-PM/OPRA
  • Generate local, maintenance-related reports as requested by the Maintenance Manager
  • Internal and external coordination of planned maintenance activities
  • Develop, implement and manage corrective and preventative plans, including creation of maintenance priorities and schedules
  • Maintain critical spare inventory for production for production equipment and building facilities equipment
  • Leads team through 5s activities for maintenance area
  • Supports safety through machine hazard analysis

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in industrial technology or equivalent of 2 years' experience in plant maintenance.
  • Must have good communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Electronic controls knowledge and experience preferred
  • Ability to read blueprint
  • Troubleshooting PLC Controls / Programming preferred (not required)
  • Working knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics' preferred
  • Computer experience required (Microsoft, excel etc.)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
