Overview

Responsible for assisting with all administrative aspects of Legal e-Billing program. Assists e-Billing unit to ensure timely and proper payment of legal invoices. Communicates directly with law firm vendors with respect to billing and payment inquiries. Assists with verification of billing data for new and ongoing legal matters. Maintains a solid understanding of AmTrust’s mission, vision, and values. Upholds the standards of the AmTrust organization.

Responsibilities

Monitors and responds to communications from law firm vendors regarding e-billing and payment inquiries. Monitors and corrects potential errors that may result in the rejection of e-bills and/or payments of invoices. Assists with all administrative aspects of Legal e-Billing program. Assists with manual processing of certain legal bill payments. Communicates with Legal Bill Review vendor and claims organization with respect to inquiries regarding special billing instructions. Verifies e-billing data submitted by law firms for new and ongoing legal matters to ensure proper payment processing. Keeps current with market trends and demands. Performs other functionally related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in related field  OR  equivalent business experience. Electronic billing experience Strong MS Excel skills Excellent organization skills Exceptional attention to detail Ability to work independently and function as part of a team.

Preferred: 

Experience with Bottomline Technologies Legal X e-billing platform 4 years of experience with legal e-billing Prior legal or insurance claims experience
