Durham, United States 1000 Kyndryl, Inc. Full time

Who We Are

At Kyndryl, we design, build, manage and modernize the mission-critical technology systems that the world depends on every day. So why work at Kyndryl? We are always moving forward – always pushing ourselves to go further in our efforts to build a more equitable, inclusive world for our employees, our customers and our communities.

The Role

The Associate Director of Learning Technology & Experience plays a strategic role in improving the learning experience at Kyndryl by partnering with the HR Technology and Talent Technology teams. This role will not be responsible for executing technology implementations, but rather will serve as a consultant that bridges the gap between learning users and technology teams. The Associate Director of Learning Technology & Experience gathers insights and feedback from users, identifies challenges, and communicates what enhancements are needed to improve our learning platforms—specifically Workday Learning (WDL) and other learning tools.

This role focuses on acting as the liaison between learning users and the teams responsible for learning technology execution, ensuring that enhancements to platforms like Workday Learning align with user needs and create a seamless, engaging, and effective learning experience.

Responsibilities:

Stakeholder Partnership :

Collaborate closely with the HR Technology team, which is responsible for executing learning technology solutions, and the Talent Technology team, which tracks and collects challenges from the talent organization.

Serve as a trusted advisor to these teams by clearly articulating the learning community's needs, ensuring that technology implementations meet the evolving needs of users.

User Experience Feedback :

Act as the voice of the learning user community by gathering input through surveys, interviews, and feedback sessions on the current learning technology experience.

Identify key pain points in the learner journey, with a focus on issues related to search functionality, content recommendations, and accessibility within Workday Learning and other platforms.

Consulting on Technology Enhancements :

Provide detailed recommendations to the HR and Talent Technology teams on what specific enhancements are needed based on user feedback.

Ensure that learning technologies are designed to improve engagement, accessibility, and personalization for the end-user.

Cross-Team Collaboration :

Collaborate with learning consultants, instructional designers, and platform administrators to ensure alignment in enhancing the user experience.

Work with the Talent Technology team to monitor and analyze tech challenges, translating these insights into actionable improvement plans.

Data-Driven Insights :

Use data collected from user interactions, feedback, and platform analytics to guide decisions on enhancements and prioritize the most critical improvements.

Track the impact of implemented changes on the overall user experience to ensure continuous improvement.

Communication & Reporting :

Communicate regularly with key stakeholders, providing updates on user feedback and the status of proposed enhancements.

Deliver clear, actionable insights and reports that help align the technical teams with user needs.
