Key responsibilities:
Provides pre-school services for children including personal care, hygiene, learning and development activities and specialized programs. Plans, develops, and teaches pre-school classes. prepares and maintains records; maintains cleanliness and orderliness of childcare property.What we are looking for in you:
High school diploma or required and two year's experience teaching child development programs in a church or pre-school, or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. Valid state driver's license and First Aid Certification Health Card Certification DCF Childcare CoursesPhysical Requirements and Working Conditions:
Ability to lift, hold, and carry children on a regular basis (up to 50 lbs.).
Duties are usually performed by combinations of sitting, standing, and walking on a frequent change basis.
Work is performed in a normal pre-school environment where there are little or no physical discomforts associated with changes in weather or discomforts associated with noise, dust, dirt, and the like.
