VCA Aventura Animal Hospital is seeking a Veterinary Assistant to join the wonderful team at our full-service 3-doctor practice in Aventura, FL.

Our well-established hospital is in a great location, serving the communities of North Miami, Sunny Isles, Aventura and Hallandale Beach. We see dogs, cats and exotic species, and are committed to providing quality care to our patients and clients

What You'll Do

Whether you are a credentialed veterinary technician (CVT, RVT, LVT, LVMT) or an experienced veterinary assistant with great tech skills, we want you to use your skills and knowledge. Skills that you will be utilizing include, but are not limited to:

Client education and communication Compassionate patient care Patient assessment Anesthesia and surgery assisting Radiology Dentistry Catheter placement Venipuncture Laboratory work Pharmacy Medical recordkeeping
