As a test engineer supporting the Integration and Test team, you will be supporting our mission to return humans to the Moon and extend human presence permanently beyond the bounds of Earth.
Lunar Permanence is Blue Origin’s team dedicated to developing mission architectures such as our planned Lunar Lander program, Blue Moon (Link: ). Our Lunar Permanence team is developing our Lunar Pathfinder mission will demonstrate the lander’s core capabilities – including the privately funded BE-7 landing engine, precision landing sensors, and advanced integrated power and propulsion architecture – on an early New Glenn flight. We are looking for someone to apply their technical expertise, leadership skills, and commitment to quality to positively impact safe human spaceflight. Passion for our mission and vision is required
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Plan, develop and execute test procedures for flight hardware Work with the design and systems engineers to plan tests of the integrated vehicle and subsystems, ensuring the tests are designed to verify the pertinent requirements Troubleshoot issues and anomalies that arise during testing Reduce, analyze, and archive test data to support verification tasks Perform root cause, system hazard analysis and failure investigations Find opportunities for safety improvements and cost savings Proactively prepare status updates and communicates both within the organization and with direct customers Have frequent inter-organizational and customer interactions on difficult technical issues Participate in test readiness review, pre and post test briefings, and post test reviews. Enforce safety policies during test planning and operationsMinimum Qualifications:
Passion for our mission: Millions of people living and working in space BS in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, physics, or related technical discipline 0+ years of applicable experience Excellent verbal, written, and graphical communication skills Experience working collaboratively in a fast paced, dynamic work environment Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylumPreferred Qualifications:
Experience with space vehicle component, subsystem, or integrated vehicle testing including functional and performance testing 2+ years of applicable experience Experience with participating in NASA technical reviews Understands/experience with hazardous operations Experience with scripting (Python or other scripting language)Inclusivity Statement

Paid Time Off: Up to four (4) weeks per year based on weekly scheduled hours, and up to 14 company-paid holidays.
Discretionary bonus: Bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
