Job Description

Cricut’s integrated marketing & communications team is looking for a proactive, highly motivated, communications and marketing professional with a passion for creating and managing social media campaigns. As the manager, social media, you will be responsible for managing a team of social media professionals, as well as creating strategies & plans across channels, including Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and Facebook.

Cricut is fortunate to have a large community of passionate and knowledgeable Maker influencers across many categories – DIY, craft, sewing, and more – and many channels including Blogs, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, and social media groups.

If you have a love of all things handmade and want to be a leader in the social media space, this position is for you This role reports to the director of communications.

Responsibilities:

Lead strategy for social media programs across channels, including Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and Facebook Define program objectives, target audiences, strategies/tactics, deliverables, timeline, and value measurement Analyze program performance to improve opportunities, performance, and partnerships Work with cross-functional teams including the integrate, PR, product marketing, content marketing, and digital marketing operations Think big Cricut has a significant social media presence across channels, and is looking to innovate and grow with new ideas that resonate with our target audience Stay up to date on the latest DIY trends, projects, and innovations in social media

Qualifications

7-8 years Instagram/influencer marketing experience; agency experience preferred Strong project management and interpersonal skills; ability to juggle multiple projects at one time and self-prioritize workload Must have experience leading teams and managing direct reports Ability to work with focus to meet tight time schedules Ability to collaborate with and influence diverse groups within marketing, including cross-functional peers Excellent written and verbal communications Undergraduate degree required; bachelor’s in communications, PR or marketing preferred Skills include: Excel, PowerPoint, program management
