Overview

Job Summary:

The Business Analyst will be responsible for supporting the full life cycle of P2P processing with an emphasis on research/analyzing/reporting experience while building strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders. This role is responsible for supporting implementations, data management, reporting, and problem resolution. The Business Analyst will also work with the team and various departments to implement and maintain automation and enhancements.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions:

• Serve as an additional point of contact and SME for functional use of the Source to Pay platform
• Support end user inquires related to varying types of transactions to include ordering, receiving and other required system functions
• Support supplier integration and enablement in Source to Pay platform to increase transactional automation
• Help identify issues, develop hypotheses, and perform analyses to translate data and metrics into insights for business process improvements
• Work with business partners to understand and document the business requirements and implement solutions to support continuous improvement and transformation
• Help create, implement, and refine processes and policies that create efficiencies; includes preparing process maps and procedure documentation to support changes to new and existing processes
• Create and maintain training documentation and quick reference guides for end users on supported Source to Pay platforms
• Create and distribute varying types of custom reporting on an ad-hoc basis to include contracts, spend and transactional volume

• Develop time saving initiatives through automation, process enhancement or supplier benchmarking
• Responsible for using independent judgment and making decisions that require a great degree of creative, analytical, and problem-solving ability
• Interact with parallel organizations in other geographies to assure consistent global approach
• Implement and maintain commodity trend reporting
• Maintain monthly spend data metrics and support initiative of enhancing the way in which data is compiled and presented
• Determine areas of rogue spend that can be seen as opportunities to implement into the technology for better user experience and financial control
• Support and manage supplier onboarding in the Source to Pay platform along with Supervisor
• Engage with the ESG team to supply applicable reporting to support ESG initiatives
• Various reporting needs as requested

Minimum Education and/or Experience:

• Minimum BS/BA in business concentration and 2+ years equivalent substantive experience in procurement or other financially focused role
• Strong analytical and detail-oriented aptitude; a high degree of accuracy is required
• High proficiency with standard business software tools (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, etc.) and an ability to learn new ones quickly
