**Overview**:
The Industry Outreach Analyst, reporting to the Government Program Lead, plays a pivotal role in facilitating communication and collaboration between the Department of Defense (DoD) and businesses seeking to engage with its programs. This position involves active engagement with industry inquiries, providing guidance to businesses interested in doing business with the DoD, and supporting various outreach initiatives led by the Office of Small Business Programs.

**Responsibilities**:

- Act as a primary point of contact for industry inquiries and provide guidance on navigating the process of doing business with the DoD.
- Foster positive relationships with businesses to enhance collaboration and ensure a streamlined process for industry engagement.
- Support and attend outreach events organized by the OSBP.
- Manage speaking events, including coordinating speakers, drafting presentations, and preparing outreach materials to convey key messages effectively.
- Ensure that all outreach efforts align with the goals and objectives of the OSBP.
- Maintain a comprehensive calendar of OSBP outreach events, ensuring a balanced schedule and avoiding conflicts.
- Coordinate content for events, including speaker schedules, presentation materials, and logístical details.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop relevant and impactful content for outreach events.
- Work closely with the Government Program Lead to ensure the alignment of content with the overall strategy and mission of the OSBP.
- Keep detailed records of industry interactions and outreach event details.
- Generate reports on the effectiveness of outreach efforts and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Ensure that all outreach activities comply with relevant regulations, policies, and guidelines.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in business, communications, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in outreach, business development, or a similar role.
- Understanding of government procurement processes, especially within the Department of Defense.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
