About the Role:

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Operations Manager in analyzing and developing health and safety processes while providing training in job safety.
  • Support activities and gather necessary information for safety and regulatory reporting to ensure compliance with agencies such as OSHA and the EPA.
  • Conduct internal audits, prepare for external audits, and assist in developing and implementing corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with plant personnel to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and create an actionable plan for implementation.

About You:

We Require:

  • High School Diploma or GED, though a 2 or 4-year degree with a focus on Health, Safety, or Environmental studies is preferred. A combination of post-secondary education and relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in an environmental Health and Safety-related field.
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, analysis, judgment, and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
