Duties and Responsibilities
  • Patient Care: Evaluate patients and assist physicians with patient care.
  • Care Planning: Plan, implement, and document nursing care based on patient’s needs.
  • Assessment: Identify patient needs and determine priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
  • Care Coordination: Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized plan of care for patients assigned through initial and ongoing assessments.
  • Therapeutic Interventions: Perform therapeutic nursing interventions.
  • Documentation: Document care based on standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and/or clinical priorities.
  • Advocacy: Advocate for evidence-based practice care standards and support the adoption of evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery.
  • Professional Practice: Provide patient-centric care in alignment with the professional nursing practice model.
  • Other Duties: Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Telemetry Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent telemetry experience required.
  • Floating: May be floated to other units within scope including inpatient m/s, inpatient telemetry, observation unit, inpatient ED holding area.

  • Degree: ASN from an accredited school of nursing.
Preferred Education
  • Degree: BSN.
