Team Overview
This exciting opportunity is part of our dedicated Commercial Customer Care team based in Parsippany, NJ.
Summary
The Order Confirmation Specialist will support the Customer Service/Logistics teams with a variety of administrative tasks, mainly focusing on confirming orders for material to be produced and shipped.
Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Contact customers on a daily basis to confirm orders are ready for production and delivery.
Continuous follow up with customers until all orders are confirmed or changed.
Work closely with Production, shipping and customer service.
Make appropriate and accurate changes to orders.
Troubleshoot shipping issues that arise and work with the customer and transportation to resolve in a timely manner.
Assist Account Specialist as needed with processing orders.
Communicate with management on orders that consistently change.
Assist with special projects as needed.
Under This Roof, We Require
Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
1-3 Customer Service experience.
Inbound/Outbound phone experience preferred.
Order Entry experience.

Intermediate level proficiency in MS Office and Google Suites.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Advanced ability to multitask.
The ability to work effectively with a team, develop workflows and processes to help improve performance is an essential requirement.
Ability to manage and organize information from various channels such as phone, email and EDI.
