Manager, Engineering

Responsibilities

The Manager, Engineering-Facility will organize and manage work requests and projects within a defined area of responsibility; providing customer coordination, project estimation, and scheduling work to accomplish completion, by both in-house and contractor personnel. Reporting of work order completion, P.M.’s and project status is required.

Key Responsibilities: 

Develop, monitor and track the effectiveness of Customer Service to patients, visitors, and fellow employees. Establish and maintain communication with all levels of Administration and employees Provide direction, guidance, and overall management to insure operational integrity, financial viability, physical safety, and institutional compliance of all Norton Healthcare facilities. Utilize a variety of analytical techniques to solve problems and report progress. Maintain a participative, teamwork oriented environment including recognition programs to acknowledge abilities, development, and achievement of the entire staff, training programs to insure a culture of learning and growth, and communication to ensure a continuous 2-way flow of information.
Qualifications

Required:

Five years in facility equipment service and maintenance.
