Position Summary: Senior Social Media Strategists at Levelwing understand that building a successful social media presence takes careful planning and development. A strong Senior Social Media Strategist can engage key audiences and make a positive impact on brands' business initiatives through their navigation of the social space. Senior Social Media Strategists help build campaigns that capture the essence of a brand, engage consumers, and drive advocacy. They analyze performance, proactively communicate industry and platform trends, and provide recommendations to lead the category in the social space. Senior Social Media Strategists also manage the day to day of Social Media Manager direct reports.

Minimum Skills & Requirements:
  • What You Bring:
    • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a relevant field of study.
    • Five plus (5+) years of experience in an agency or working in-house for well-known brand(s).
    • Hands-on experience using social media to build brand awareness.
    • Experience with copy and content writing.
    • Experience with social tools, including but not limited to: Facebook Scheduling, Sprinklr, Hootsuite, Sprout, Grin, Mavrk, etc.
    • Experience identifying trends and insights in social platforms.
    • Experience with social analytics and reporting.
    • Community management experience a plus.
    • Social Influencer management experience a plus.
  • Who You Are:
    • You have built your career off your familiarity and passion for the social media platforms: TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Reddit, X, and Pinterest.
    • You understand the importance of strong verbal and written communication and you've honed your skills in these areas.
    • You have a passion for identifying key audience preferences and producing tailored content.
    • You're analytical, possessing a passion for the metrics and data involved in social media marketing.
    • You have excellent time and project management skills.
    • You're a multi-tasker with the ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and tasks at the same time.
    • You love to be proactive, constantly striving to anticipate what comes next and prepare for it.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Building and maintaining cohesive social strategies across platforms to achieve high levels of user engagement.
  • Following social media trends and hashtags that relate to the core interests of the brands we support and their consumers/followers.
  • Overseeing the day-to-day work of the Social Media Managers who are building and executing content calendars and planning/scheduling posts for the various brands they support.
  • Leading the development and execution of influencer campaigns, bloggers, and news outlets to promote brand awareness and create social buzz around key events.
  • Reviewing and guiding the original and high-quality content the Social Media Managers create before publishing across various social media platforms.
  • Creating, reviewing, editing and optimizing guidelines for social media managers to respond to comments.
  • Reviewing and providing insight into performance analysis prior to delivering and presenting to clients.
    • Performing weekly and monthly reports on engagement, follower growth, creative performance, and other metrics that tie back to the stated business goals of the brand.
  • Collaborating with the broader Levelwing team to present a "one team" front to clients, acting as a business partner.
  • Performing other related duties as assigned.
