About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Business Execution Consultant to become a member of the Corporate Risk group's Consumer and Small Business Banking's (CSBB) Business Chief Risk Officer team. This role offers an exciting and challenging opportunity to join the Credit Risk Governance Team. The Small Business Banking (SBB) division of Wells Fargo Bank is a technically sophisticated, entrepreneurial organization committed to applying the most advanced mathematical and data driven technologies to small business lending.

This position will be responsible for providing dedicated execution & oversight of SBB credit risk policy governance, administration, and controls in accordance with Enterprise and Small Business Banking credit policies, programs, and procedures. Key responsibilities will include developing and executing Chief Risk Officer (CRO) Delegated Credit Approval Authority (DCAA) granting program policies and procedures. Establishing and executing process to store and retain evidence of DCAA granting program and control execution. Supporting execution of SBB Credit Risk governance oversight, monitoring, and control routines in adherence to Enterprise and SBB requirements and standards. Supporting execution and on-going maintenance of SBB CRO RAU service model and control environment based on Enterprise Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) framework.

In this role, you will:
  • Support functions or operations for multiple business groups and contribute to large scale strategic initiatives.
  • Ensure efficiency, quality, cost effectiveness of solutions, and pipeline management relating to assigned operations.
  • Research moderately complex business, operational, and strategic initiatives that require analytical skills, basic knowledge of organizational strategy and Business Execution, and understanding of international business.
  • Work independently to make recommendations for support function by providing support and leadership.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of a variety of programs and initiatives that may include risk mitigation, efficiency, and customer experience.
  • Collaborate and consult with team leaders in developing project plans, policies, and procedures.
  • Provide leadership in management of relationships and implementation of programs, services, and initiatives with cross functional business partners.
Required Qualifications, US:
  • 2+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience in writing and executing policy and procedures.
  • Familiarity with Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) environment and processes.
  • A BS/BA degree or higher in business or management.
  • Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment.
  • Ability to proactively manage and mitigate issues.
  • Ability to collaborate at all internal organizational levels.
  • Ability to deliver multiple concurrent projects or large-scale individual projects.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
