Occupational Health Physician in Lancaster, PA

WellSpan Health is seeking a full-time Occupational Medicine Physician or Family/Internal Medicine Physician with experience in Occupational Health for our site in New Holland, PA - a borough of Lancaster County. Our team integrates all employer services: EAP, Wellness and Occupational Health which sets us apart from other employers

Position Highlights

No holidays, no weekends, no call and no evenings Provide occupational medicine services including pre-placement evaluations, work-related injuries/illness, and fitness for duty/return to work evaluations Oversee APPs, lab license and employer contracts Certification to do DOT physicals required, familiarity with OSHA and NIOSH preferred to learn more about the practice

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

Doctor of Medicine (MD) Required or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Required

Licenses:

Licensed Medical Physician and Surgeon Upon Hire Required or Licensed Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Upon Hire Required

Courses and Training:

Certification by an appropriate Board. Upon Hire Required and Completion of an appropriate residency program. Upon Hire Required and Must qualify and be a member of the Hospital Medical Staff. Upon Hire Required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Clinical skills and knowledge of emergency medicine techniques and occupational medicine. Teaching skills.
