Job Description

ASRC Federal Field Services provides logistical support at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center in North Charleston (FLETC Federal Complex off Spruill Avenue). We are looking for a Janitorial Manager.

Essential Job Functions:

Manages the janitorial program and monitors work schedules of all personnel to ensure operation is within the listed Schedule of Services.  Coordinate, schedule and supervise janitorial day, evening and weekend shift staff members and fill in as needed. Conducts quality assurance checks and manages materials inventory general use.  Submit Purchase Order for paper and chemical products as needed. Supervise proper carpet cleaning, steam spot cleaning, floor stripping and waxing. Maintain daily turnover log for continuity of services across shifts. Manage janitorial staff to ensure performance standards are met for the site as well as company requirements. Working with Shared Services team, responsible for full cycle staffing of janitors to include, interviewing, hiring, performance management and separations. Perform special projects and related duties as requested.  Other duties as required.

Requirements

Shall possess at least 5 years of experience in the management and supervision of commercial and institutional janitorial services. High school Diploma or GED preferred. Experience managing staff of shift workers preferred to include hiring, performance management and separations. Ability to read and follow cleaning supply instructions/restrictions Must be a US or Naturalized Citizen. Must be able to read and understand English. Must be proficient in Microsoft IOS and Outlook Must be able to pass a background check, drug screen and physical. Must maintain a valid SC driver’s license and a clean driving history. Must be able to support night and weekend operations as needed. Must be able to push, pull and lift 50 lbs. repeatedly. Must possess excellent customer service values.
