Hands-on involvement in design activities, from initial concept development through validation and production launch. Travel globally for extended periods (up to weeks at a time) to support project activities, supplier visits, and team coordination. Apply strong injection molding knowledge, including Moldflow analysis, CAE (Computer-Aided Engineering), and FEA (Finite Element Analysis), to optimize part design and manufacturing processes. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations throughout the product development lifecycle. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Design, Quality, Manufacturing, and Purchasing to achieve project milestones and objectives. Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and development opportunities for engineering team members. Prepare and deliver comprehensive project status reports, presentations, and technical documentation. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field required; Master's degree preferred. Proven experience in engineering management within the automotive industry, focusing on exterior trim components. Expertise in CATIA software for D modeling, design, and analysis. Strong understanding of injection molding processes, Moldflow analysis, CAE, and FEA. Demonstrated ability to manage global teams effectively, with experience in coordinating activities across multiple time zones. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, stressful environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism and leadership. Hands-on experience in product development from concept to launch, with a track record of successful project delivery. Willingness to travel internationally for extended periods as required. LI-KE
