Position Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and organized HR/Staffing Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in human resources and staff scheduling within a healthcare setting, particularly in skilled nursing facilities (SNFs). This role is essential in ensuring we maintain a full, competent, and motivated workforce to deliver the best possible care to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Staff Scheduling: Develop and maintain staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage for all shifts. Manage shift changes, swaps, and replacements to maintain optimal staffing levels.
  • Recruitment and Onboarding: Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and hiring qualified candidates. Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including orientation and training.
  • Employee Relations: Serve as a point of contact for staff inquiries and concerns. Promote a positive work environment and address employee issues promptly.
  • HR Administration: Maintain accurate employee records, manage timekeeping, and oversee payroll processing. Ensure compliance with all HR policies and regulations.
  • Training and Development: Coordinate ongoing training and development programs to enhance staff skills and competencies.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to state and federal regulations related to staffing and HR practices within the skilled nursing facility.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of HR and staffing experience, preferably in a healthcare or skilled nursing facility.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of state and federal employment laws and regulations.
