The training/HR coordinator is responsible for coordinating and managing a site wide training program to include the administration, evaluation, delivery and tracking of employee credentials and qualifications status, as well as supporting the HR function through training, onboarding, total rewards and compliance. Requires well developed team skills, unquestioned integrity, and the experience, confidence and presence to effectively handle and deliver HR and production training materials.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Facilitate training for newly hired, temporary and existing employees Establish a positive learning environment and respond to the individual needs of trainees Provide support and clear explanations of expectations to new hires Track new hire’s progress towards expected training level Ensure all policies and expectations are being met by new hires, including PPE usage Utilizing feedback from team members, team leaders, and supervisors, regularly made recommendations to Operations, Human Resources, and others regarding training needs Update, define, and maintain training materials, as requested Maintain the Cross Functional Training Matrix for operations, including supporting documentation, where appropriate With input from Supervisors, Team Leaders and Team Members, regularly determine work situations requiring training and to better understand changes in procedures and regulations In support of the Charlotte Job Based Pay structure Establish a cross-functional team and conduct annual evaluations of positions, as needed Maintain accurate and up-to-date job descriptions for all positions Coordinates and manages the job qualification and certification programs for all levels of the plants hourly workforce. Support HR function in recruiting, onboarding, maintaining employee records, and compliance Process payroll changes, reimbursements and internal payroll deductions Other tasks as assignedQUALIFICATIONS:
