The Opportunity

As the Accounts Receivable (A/R) Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the entire accounts receivable process for ConvenientMD. This includes leading a team of A/R Specialists and acting as part of the leadership team within the Revenue Cycle Management department.

Your Impact

Team Leadership

Supervise and mentor a team of Accounts Receivable Specialists. Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure the team meets defined performance goals. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.

Cash Application

Manage the efficient application of cash receipts to customer accounts. Reconcile daily cash postings and resolve any discrepancies promptly. Collaborate with the team to identify and address unapplied cash.

Collections Management

Develop and implement effective collections strategies to reduce outstanding accounts receivable balances. Monitor aging reports and work with the team to prioritize and follow up on overdue accounts. Collaborate with other departments to resolve billing and payment issues.

Reporting and Analysis

Generate regular reports on key accounts receivable metrics for management review. Analyze trends and variances, providing insights and recommendations for improvement. Contribute to the development of financial forecasts and budgets.

Who You Are

Experience: You have 5+ years in accounts receivable, with at least 2 years of management experience. 

Strong Leader: You consider yourself a strong communicator, leader, and have strong interpersonal skills.

Industry Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of healthcare billing practices, regulations, and third-party payer policies. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. 

Ability to Commute:Reliable transportation to commute to our corporate HQ office Monday- Friday in Portsmouth, NH.
