The Home Custom Services Manager is responsible for driving consistent and high-quality home channel fulfillment by Best Buy and Geek Squad employees while also driving productivity to meet business needs. This role offers project management expertise within Magnolia Design Centers, in-home consultations, and Best Buy Business. They offer a custom and premium experience for clients within a designated market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drives a positive customer experience by building relationships and providing solutions to their needs.
  • Develops effective strategies to meet service-related goals.
  • Provides oversight of the Best Buy and Geek Squad Strategies within their area.
  • Provides teachable point of view for new processes, procedures, business segments, and areas of focus
  • Responsible for owning and maintaining pertinent partnerships to drive business results and improve the client experience.
  • Partners with sales partners to ensure services solutions are sold right the first time.
  • Collaborates with Home Market Manager to select the most efficient labor options.
  • Analyzes business trends on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
  • Reviews all assessment requirements for the geographical area and ensures action plans are being followed.
  • Develops area and individual action plans to overcome performance gaps.
  • Contributes to and develops an effective team environment that drives employee engagement and performance.
  • Contributes to efforts to attract high-quality and diverse talent, meeting both immediate and long-term needs.
  • Collaborates with sales teams on weekly pipeline meetings within assigned area.
Basic Qualifications
  • 4 years of services, retail, or related experience inclusive of supervision of direct and indirect reports, coaching, training, recognition, and managing business outcomes OR military equivalent
  • 1 year of consumer electronics or appliance industry experience
  • Strong written, verbal, communication, and presentation-related communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • 5 years of services, retail, or related leadership experience
  • 3 years of retail management experience
  • Experience in a large global consumer-oriented business in the retail industry and/or a multi-channel, multi-brand business
