Your Role:

As a Key Account Engineer, you will be Tesla's first contact with Atlas Copco and an ambassador for our brand. You will travel to all of Tesla's plants located in Texas, California, Illinois, New York, and on occasion internationally to Italy or China. You will investigate mechanical, electrical, and software issues on Atlas Copco equipment at the customer's locations to prevent production downtime. You will maintain an "Open Issues/Warranty Claims Log" for any unresolved issues related to Atlas Copco equipment. You will perform preventative maintenance, and calibrations and identify equipment faults to resolve the customer's Warranty Claims.

Salary and Travel Requirements:

Starting pay is $28.50 per Hour with Overtime and Double-time opportunities

To travel 50% within the State of Texas

To travel 40% within the State of California

To travel 5% within the State of Illinois or New York

To travel 5% Internationally to China or Italy

Schedule:

The schedule is based on the needs of the customer and may require work outside of "typical business hours"

To Succeed, You Will Need:

To reside in or around Austin, TX

To have a valid Driver‘s License

To work in a Hybrid environment #LI-Hybrid

4 years of experience with IT Databases, Firmware Troubleshooting and Computer Networking

4 or more years of experience with Controllers, Programmable Logic Controllers, or HMIs

2 years of experience with the Open Protocol platform

3+ years of experience in Calibrations and Preventative Maintenance

To work in a manufacturing plant/facility/loud environment

Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds
