- Conduct thorough variance analysis, offering deep insights into financial performance and identifying areas for improvement.
- Supervise and mentor both on-site and remote accounting staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.
- Develop, document, and maintain internal processes and procedures, offering training and guidance to ensure consistency and compliance.
- Create and maintain financial models and forecasts that support strategic decision-making and budgeting.
- Monitor cash flow, assess financial risks, and implement effective controls to safeguard our assets.
- Ensure full compliance with all accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts, working closely with department heads to align financial goals with business objectives.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices, recommending process improvements that drive efficiency and accuracy.

- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA credentials are preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years focused on contract and/or construction accounting.
- A deep understanding of GAAP and accounting standards specific to the contract and construction industry.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or equivalent, with advanced Excel skills for financial modeling and analysis.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to lead and inspire a team.
- A meticulous eye for detail, a commitment to accuracy, and a high degree of integrity.
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement.

Why Work With Us:
We offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
- Paid Time Off to support work-life balance.
