Job Id: 402 # of Openings: 1 Summary The Department of Nursing seeks applicants for a full-time, Instructor or Assistant Professor level to begin August 2024. This position has the potential for renewal. This individual will be a part of the Nursing faculty with their primary responsibilities are teaching and coordinating the nursing laboratory. Qualifications Ph.D. in Nursing preferred, or Master’s in Nursing required Expertise in Nursing Clinical Skills required Teaching experience required Rank is dependent on academic credentials and academic experience Ability to contribute to the mission of the college and department including diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging efforts Ability to use learning systems technologies such as Moodle. Duties and Responsibilities Teaching responsibilities in the Department of Nursing could include the following based on experience and expertise: Nursing Clinical Skills Teach and coordinating nursing labs in the Department of Nursing Supervise lab faculty and nursing lab assistants Maintaining lab equipment and supplies Participation in continuing education in nursing clinical skills Academic advising Participation in departmental committees and activities Uphold department policies.
