The summer internship program is full-time for 10 weeks from June 3rd - August 9th. 

Housing is available for qualified candidates that are not local to the Saint Paul, MN market.

Primary Responsibilities: 

Distribute drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitionersProvide information to customers about medications and their usePerform clerical duties such as filing patient records and processing insurance claimsEnsure compliance with all relevant laws of the applicable State Board of PharmacyAdministration of immunizations as allowed by state boards of pharmacyAny other usual and customary pharmacy dutiesConsistently exhibit behavior and communication skills that demonstrate the company’s commitment to superior customer service, including quality care and concern with internal and external customersAdhere to having a safe and secure workspace and communicate with their leadership when that safety (equipment, system, information) is compromisedComply with policies, rules and regulations set forth by the Board of Pharmacy, and other applicable regulatory bodiesUse, protect, and disclose patients’ protected health information (PHI) only in accordance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) standards

Required Qualifications:

Currently enrolled in a Doctor of Pharmacy program,with first professional year (P1) completed before start of internshipActive licensure as a pharmacist intern in state of Minnesota Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization (F-1 students with practical training and candidates requiring H-1Bs, TNs, etc. will not be considered)

Preferred Qualifications:

Completion of at least one Therapeutics Course 3.5 or higher cumulative GPAKnowledge of medical and pharmacy terminologyProven adequate mathematical, analytical, and critical thinking skillsProven solid oral and written communication skills
