All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation of $20 per hour, as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision).Available shifts: 1st Shift
Job Responsibilities:
- Act as the site manager of the warehouse in Toledo
- Maintain the facility and equipment in good condition
- Manage the routine work with outsourced service vendors, e.g. landscaping/janitorial/boiler, etc.
- Recruit and lead a small site team, including warehouse clerk, forklift operator, etc.
- Set up EDI with US customers and execute the transition from current 3PL to Toledo warehouse
- Implement all daily transactions
- Monitor inventory accuracy and executing improvement plans
- Communicate with local and International Carriers
- Support any Quality audits and Sorts
- Inventory Reporting
- Associate’s Degree
- 5 years’ experience in Warehouse Operations
- Leadership experience
- Experience in working in a global, complex organizations is a plus
- Business process knowledge of Supply Chain at large
- Appreciation of applied business information systems (ERP)
- Able to asses and manage changes in a complex local environment: setting priorities, assessing risks, proposing alternative solutions
- Team player
