Responsibilities
  • Develop positive working relationships with our current clients, partners and team.
  • Collect and secure detailed risk and underwriting information from prospects and clients to determine insurance needs.
  • Develop recommendations and formal proposals based on the information collected detailing coverage, limits, deductibles, pricing and other pertinent information.
  • Explain the differences in policy specifics so clients can make informed decisions about their purchases.
  • Submit all documents and payments as required to carrier in order to bind coverage.
  • Record all details of interaction taken on a client's behalf in the Agency Management System.
  • Assist with underwriting approval and respond to underwriting requests from partner carriers.
  • Multi-line accounts by offering additional lines of business that align with client's needs.
  • Request referrals from current agency clients and prospect for new business maintaining a full funnel.
  • Process service requests from current clients or partners in a timely fashion.
  • Recognize and be cognizant of E & O matters following Agency Guidelines and Procedures at all times.
  • Special projects and other duties as assigned.

Requirement
  • 2-20, 20-44 or 4-40 Property and Casualty License is required
  • Proven track record in Sales and Customer Service is preferred
  • Excellent Verbal and Written Communication including ability to handle difficult clients
  • PC Proficiency including Agency Management Software and various company Raters
  • Outstanding Customer Service and Phone/Office Etiquette
  • Team Player
  • Current independent agency experience in the Florida Homeowners Market a
