SUMMARY

Ensure the full execution of the missions under the Role Player contract and support all training event role player preparation and coordination.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Work daily with IIT and/or HST employees ensuring successful training event planning and execution of training support scenarios. Serve as subject matter expert for all role player activities within the training venue. Meet all contract training requirements and ensure training support requests meet contract guidelines. Control activities and movements of personnel and provide accurate and timely reports as required. Execute Program Manager guidance and support all Operations initiatives. Ensure workplace compliance with all safety and regulatory laws and guidelines. Ensure safety of all Katmai employees. Ensure all base safety pyrotechnic guidelines are adhered to. Supervise and direct subordinates, drive positive performance, and support quality control initiatives. Maintain and account for company vehicles, IT equipment, weapons, ammo, furniture, and tools. Support client property accountability procedures. Recruit, hire and maintain a robust, versatile, and well-trained Role Player pool. Responsible for updating and maintaining the accuracy of the Role Player information in the Role Player Database (bio metric date, demographic data, roles, languages, etc.). Update the Mission Planning application to include the mission information and all required reports. Ensure adherence to contract/task orders guidelines. Mitigate risks while handling problems quickly and efficiently. Maintain regular and punctual attendance. Perform other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for all site employees.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Demonstrated experience working closely with military personnel, government employees and other contractors. Experience and competence in the employment and maintenance of weapons and ammunition (highly desired) Experience and competence in the employment and maintenance of weapons and ammunition. Must have an intermediate knowledge of the Microsoft office suite. Must obtain and maintain any necessary security access and/or background checks.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree preferred. In lieu of degree, relevant work experience may be substituted. Prior Military experience highly desired. Ability to work independently in fast-paced environment. Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task. Ability to lead diverse cultural groups. Ability to anticipate and avoid personnel and support risks. Strong fiscal experience and responsibility. Job Requirements

WORK SCHEDULE

Full-time. May be required to work additional hours as needed to complete assignment or project.

TRAVEL

The expected travel time is less than 75%.

DRIVING REQUIREMENT

Must have or be able to attain a valid state driver’s license and be insurable on the company’s automobile insurance policy. Driving, with or without accommodation, may be required when traveling for training and/or short occasional amounts of local driving. The expected driving time is less than 50%.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Work is primarily performed in warehouse office setting, indoor areas at training sites as well as outdoors in military training areas. Work is often performed in adverse conditions including inclement weather such as high humidity, heat, cold, high wind, rain, and various local conditions. Our mission is to train US Marines; therefore, we work side by side with them in all climates and conditions. Employee may be exposed to sharp objects and may be exposed to some heat, loud noise, chemicals, lead, and vibration. Katmai strictly adheres to the Occupational Safety and Health Standards (OSHA) regulations. Use of personal protective equipment is mandatory if applicable. Employee will be exposed to a wide variety of people in differing functions, personalities, and abilities.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Frequent bending, lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds, walking and/or standing, climbing stairs, and walking on uneven ground. Occasionally sitting for long periods of time and occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds. Must be able to walk up to 2 miles. Frequent use of hands/fingers, handling objects, reaching with hands and arms, talking and hearing.
