What’s a typical day as a Sports Club Manager? You’ll be:
• Coordinating, managing, and supervising the day-to-day facility operations
• Providing excellent customer service and ensuring facility maintenance and repairs are carried out
• Scheduling and supervising Campus Recreation programs, facility rentals, and special events
• Collaborating with related departmental staff on equipment purchases, repair, maintenance, and field court needs
• Assisting with equipment installation and repair
• Managing inventory control, purchasing, invoicing, ordering, and receiving of equipment and supplies
• Coordinating the recruitment, selection, hiring, training, and evaluation of staff
• Overseeing all data collection, assessment, and reporting for facility usage
• Assisting in the development and administration of the annual facility operation budget
• Contributing to the development of operational and risk management policies and procedures
• Ensuring policies are reviewed annually, implemented, and enforced
• Monitoring and collecting data for accident and incident reports within the facilities
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have 2+ years of industry experience, sports club experience preferred
• Have 1+ years of management experience
• Have excellent organizational and communication skills
• Are detail-oriented and able to multitask effectively
• Have a strong customer service mindset
• Are able to work collaboratively in a team environment
