RoleOverview:
  • SynergyManagement Group (SMG) is seeking a dedicated Chief of Staff tosupport the CEO.
  • This is a remote contract position immediatestart 8am5pm ET availability required USbased longtermpotential.
  • Candidates should be highly experienced incomprehensively supporting Clevel executives within thisindustry.
  • Qualified applicants must have 15 yearsseniorlevel experience at toptier firms within the managementconsulting private equity and/or venture capital industry (e.g.McKinsey BCG Bain KPMG PwC Deloitte Blackstone KKR Carlyle SequoiaKleiner Perkins Accel).

Month 1EvaluationResponsibilities:
  • In addition to the OngoingResponsibilities listed below Month 1 Evaluation will be a onetimesprint project to evaluate the Chief of Staffs ability tosuccessfully navigate and achieve a highpressure results orientedobjective.
  • You will be provided with detailedinstructions (templates manuals job descriptions interview criteriaetc.) relevant tools/subscriptions and CEO availability for finalround interviews in order to achieve the following objective: (1)Recruit a senior sales executive (Managing Director or Partnerlevel) from a top tier consulting firm (2) Administratively supportthe newly hired sales executive with guidance from the CEO of SMGfor the remainder of Month 1 to successfully close and receivecleared payment for one new client engagement (minimum of $50Kcontract).
  • After successfully achieving the aboveobjective we will structure a longterm engagement.

OngoingResponsibilities (Month 1 andOnward):
  • You will be provided with detailedstepbystep instructions templates & relevanttools/accounts/subscriptions to manage the below ongoing Chief ofStaff responsibilities:
  • Handling all logistics for the CEO includingbut not limited to: Email/Calendar management task/workflowmanagement vendor management meeting scheduling/coordinationscreening and/or qualifying 3rd parties (prospective clientsvendors new hire candidates partners etc.) with provided criteriadaily progress reports daily Zoom video checkin meetingsproofreading administrative project management and coordinationLinkedIn outreach recruiting gatekeeper responsibilitiesadministrative client coordination/management.

Compensation:
  • Hourly Rate commensurate withexperience (exclusively successbased during the Month 1Evaluation)

RelevantExperience:
  • Toptier or boutique managementconsulting firms (e.g. McKinsey Boston Consulting Group Bain& Company)
  • Toptier or boutique private equity and/orventure capital funds (e.g. Blackstone KKR Carlyle Sequoia KleinerPerkins Accel)
  • Decisionmaker with strong critical thinkingskills and ability to make soundrecommendations
  • Possesses high EQ
