Responsibilities
Fill your days by sharing stories with our consumer audience of Community’s mission: To better the lives of all those we serve. Take our weekly healthcare news show — MedWatch Today — into its new era by developing and executing the strategy behind the content and video production. Collaborate with our entire Communications & Public Affairs team to bring these stories to life while serving the key business priorities of the largest private employer in the Valley. Monitor social media channels to stay up-to-date on trends, topics and conversations relevant to our public and the work you’ve produced.
You’re a great candidate for this position because you’re experienced in strategic video storytelling, from defining the elements of the story itself to crafting the story and managing production details to air on multiple media. Writing and designing for all our communication channels is a natural fit for you. You're skilled at working independently but collaboratively to plan, shoot and edit videos on traditional and digital platforms. And you’re excited to demonstrate ROI for your work. Having an eye for cost savings, increasing efficiencies and room for improvement are a plus.
Qualifications
Education
High School Diploma, General Education Development (GED) or Completion of a CMC Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate required Bachelor's Degree in Journalism, Advertising, Public Relations, Marketing, Business or related field requiredExperience
5+ years of progressively responsible, professional Communications experience required Experience in the Healthcare industry or a Healthcare setting preferred 10 years of related experience may be substituted for Bachelor's Degree-
