What You’ll Be Doing Assists operations team in the fulfillment of Member home loan requests while maintaining State and Federal regulatory requirements, investor requirements and internal Lending Policy and Standard Operations Procedures (SOP's).
  • Monitor and confirm initial disclosures are delivered to Members in a timely manner. Partner with Originations department to confirm delivery and/or address outstanding data entry required for accurate disclosures.
  • Maintain updates within the Loan Origination System.
  • Order and follow-up on outside services, i.e. Appraisal, Escrow, Title, etc.
  • Manage all incoming images from Members, accurately and quickly attaching images to the correct loan and tracking item. Ensuring images are eligible. Communicating with team members as to the status of such uploads.
  • Manage and administer daily functions of the Lock Desk including, verifying our company’s daily loan pricing, manually locking and verifying new loan lock requests, lock reinstatements, and cancellations.
  • Process subordination request packages, communicate decision and prepare required documents.
  • Verify the final Closing Disclosure (CD) to the final Settlement Statement, ensuring accuracy for all closed loans subject to TRID. Re-disclose as needed.
  • Monitor and audit HMDA data entry and data integrity. Prepare reports and communicate findings to management. Partner with Originations and Operations team members to obtain documentation and corrections to LOS system data.
  • Complete the initial verification orders on loans in processing, including initial settlement statement, verification of insurance, ordering evidence of insurance, ordering verification of employment, ordering homeowners association documentation, ordering 4506 validations, ordering social security validation, and ordering mortgage insurance.
  • Follow up on orders placed for receipt of final documentation from vendors.
  • Process Adverse Action requests in a timely and accurate manner. Effectively communicate with second review team to accurately document decisions.
  • Maintain an open line of communication with all investors, resolving pre-purchase conditions within established timeframes.
  • Deliver closed loans to designated investors, ensuring all trades/commitments are purchased in a timely manner. Deliver all required final documentation to Private/Conduit investors.
  • Verify the physical and soft images captured correctly for all funded loans.
  • Monitor and track QC audit process internally and externally.
  • Assist with image file collection necessary for internal and external audits.
  • Continue to develop knowledge in secondary investor lending requirements and Real Estate compliance as well as SchoolsFirst FCU lending policies, guidelines and systems.

  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Complies with regulatory compliance and assigned training requirements including but not limited to BSA regulations corresponding to their specific job duties. Failure to do so may result in disciplinary and other employment related actions

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • less than 1 year of previous related experience required
  • less than 1 year experience in real estate lending, consumer lending, or front line Member service role required
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • If not previously involved in real estate lending, must have completed relevant internal or external training courses pertaining to real estate lending.
