Job Summary

The Director – Credit & Fraud plays a critical role in achieving the company's overall accounts receivable objectives. This position leads a team of Managers and Analysts and collaborates closely across departments to set appropriate credit policy and fraud prevention policies across both Fixed and Mobile businesses. The Director – Credit & Fraud identifies opportunities for improvement, leads initiatives, and delivers positive results.

Responsibilities

Plan and implement credit policies in both fixed and mobile businesses for B2C & B2B Ensure effective policies to minimize financial exposure and bad debt expense while maximizing good sales Develop and implement strategies for Fraud prevention to limit mobile device loss and fixed non-pay disconnects Analyze customer trending to identify areas of risk involving device theft, fraudulent payments, and identity theft Maintain understanding of industry best practices and external credit & fraud tools to ensure Optimum maintains highest quality experience and protection levels Collaborate across departments to ensure compliance with existing strategy and development of new processes Prepare weekly and monthly credit & fraud related KPIs and lead reviews of this information with senior leadership Design, submit, and manage all relevant development projects

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Business Administration and 6+ years of Credit/Fraud experience, Advanced MBA/MA degree desirable Highly developed knowledge of Credit/Fraud tools and processes Must have leadership qualities and possess good judgment Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills as well as proficient analytical skills required. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and general PC skills required Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously Approachable personality with the ability to effectively manage up and down accordingly
