Controls Engineer

A leading company in the area is seeking a Controls Engineer to support programming, troubleshooting, and system integration efforts. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in electrical and instrumentation engineering, with a focus on PLC programming, HMI systems with a hands-on approach to process control, safety, and optimization is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, maintenance, and troubleshooting of HMI systems.
  • Programming, troubleshooting, editing, and maintaining PLC code (Allen Bradley, Ladder Logic, VISO).
  • Modify and adapt programming languages to enhance system functionality.
  • Develop electrical drawings and schematics for system installations and upgrades.
  • Perform calibration, preventative maintenance, and refurbishment of instrumentation components.
  • Conduct SCADA integration for remote communication systems.
  • Install, calibrate, and integrate electrical and instrumentation systems.

Background and Skills:

  • Extensive experience with PLC programming (Allen Bradley, Ladder Logic), VISO, and HMI systems.
  • Ability to create, troubleshoot, and modify electrical drawings.
  • Background in HVAC is a plus.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or at least 8-10 years of equivalent experience.
