Job Summary
  • This position is directly responsible for environmental safety activities for the Community Hospital Group; i.e. Branson, Monett, and Barton County campuses. Duties include local oversight of the six environmental management plans; safety, security, fire safety, hazardous materials, medical equipment, and utilities. Duties include participation in drills, performing risk assessments, coordination of environmental tours, evaluation of the effectiveness of the management plans, and chair the Physical Environment Committee. Furthermore, the incumbent is responsible to collaborate and integrate with the System Environmental Safety program to ensure system provisioning and maintenance is consistent with the organization’s goals, industry’s best practices, and regulatory requirements.
Job Requirements
  • Education
    • Required: Bachelor's Degree or 2 years management experience
  • Experience
    • Required: 5 years healthcare experience
  • Skills
    • Basic computer skills
    • Basic knowledge of Accreditation and Regulatory surveys, OSHA & NFPA regulations
    • Performance Improvement and/or project management experience preferred
    • Excellent communication skills
