CoxHealth is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teacher to join our Learning Center team. As a Teacher, you will play a vital role in creating a safe and healthy learning environment that promotes the positive development of all children.

Key Responsibilities

  • Help maintain a safe and healthy learning environment
  • Assist in planning, directing, and coordinating academic and non-academic activities
  • Teach and carry out learning objectives for all ages and/or classrooms
  • Greet parents and children at drop off/pick up
  • Assist with daily tasks such as diapering, laundry, cleaning, and stocking supplies
  • Ensure compliance with state, federal, and accreditation regulations

Requirements

  • Education: Minimum of 6 college hours at an accredited college or university (or 3 college hours in early childhood education if hired prior to 7/30/2018)
  • Experience: Preferred 1-2 years related experience
  • Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, time management, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Health Screening required
  • Successful annual clearance from Family Care Safety Registry
  • Annual TB test required
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Initial T-Dap Immunization
  • Heartsaver Pediatric CPR/FA/AED certification within 30 days of hire
