Celanese is looking for Data Engineer, also known as an Advanced Specialist, to join its Digital Innovation team. This person will be responsible for delivering solutions with a special emphasis on data architecture, data engineering, data solutions & services and design and development of traditional and cloud data warehouses.

Key Responsibilities 

Perform overall architecture design, performance tuning/cost management, and implementation of data solutions with Azure cloud environments. Provide thought leadership to assist with defining architecture, data, and analytics strategies. Implement end-to-end data analytics solutions (from data ingestion through visualization) for large-scale, complex client environments. Advancing to Advanced Analytics – defines and manages the Advanced analytics program governance to enable execution from conception to be prototyping, testing, deploying, and measuring its overall business value.  Lead a team of data engineers in designing, developing, testing, and deploying high performance data analytics solutions. Looks beyond existing methodologies and own discipline to define and resolve complex problems. Considered a subject matter expert in one or more areas of the role.  Works with a determining influence on issues that impact design/selling success or address future concepts, products or technologies. Creates formal networks with key decision makers involving coordination among groups.  Communicate complex technical topics to non-technical business and senior executives and assist with scoping, architecting, and selling cloud data solutions. Attend business performance review meetings to help stakeholders explore data and uncover insights  Works autonomously and has decision making authority on tasks or projects. Often acts as a project or program leader. Consultation of management only in cases where decision has to be taken on a higher level/ in case of escalation. Provide guidance on data governance, security, and privacy 

Qualifications:

. in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Engineering, or related field  3-6 years Data Warehouse experience 3-6 years ETL/ELT/ Alteryx, Python programming skills including experience with pipeline orchestration tools, logging, monitoring & alerting, deep troubleshooting, and automated testing Azure Hyperscale Proficient in Data warehouse cloud technology Snowflake SQL Proficient of Analytics & ETL tool Power BI Project work experience or Support work experience Business Analyst Experience
