The FOH Manager for the 7 Hills Brewpub oversees and coordinates the planning, organizing, training and leadership necessary to achieve stated objectives in sales, costs, employee retention, guest service and satisfaction, food quality, cleanliness and sanitation. We are looking for the right candidate who takes their craft serious, but not themselves. You only have one life to live, so let's live it.

Duties:

• Accomplish restaurant human resource objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining staff. Communicating job expectations, planning, monitoring, reviewing job contributions, enforcing policies and procedures, handling guest and staff complaints

• Supervise all FOH employees

• Maintain safe, secure, and healthy facility environment by establishing, following, and enforcing sanitation standards and procedures; complying with health and legal regulations.

• Comply with and enforce all federal, state county and municipal regulations that pertain to the restaurant, health & safety, and personnel

• Work with the kitchen management to ensure that all food and products are consistently prepared and served according to the restaurant's recipes, portioning, cooking and serving standards

• Complete administrative and human resource paperwork in an organized and timely manner

• Ensure all equipment and property is kept clean and in good working condition through inspections and preventative maintenance programs

• Control cash and receipts by adhering to cash handling and reconciliation procedures

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's Degree in management or a business related field preferred. Three to five years of prior management experience in a restaurant. Must be 21 years or older.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills and capable of communicating effectively with customers, management and co-workers

• Strong customer service and management skills

• Team player with strong interpersonal and leadership skills

• Knowledge of P&L, budgeting, sales goals and forecasting

• Basic math skills and ability to use a POS system (TouchBistro), ability to operate a computer, and proficient in Microsoft office suite of programs and Google Docs

• Must have a telephone or other reliable method of communicating with all employees. Must be accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week; maintains an open door policy

• Able to work a minimum of 45 hours per week; able to work flexible hours necessary to manage and operate the restaurants effectively

• Employee must be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time and be able to frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
