Reporting to the ExecutiveChef responsibilities and essential job functions include but arenot limited to thefollowing:

  • Consistently offerprofessional friendly and proactive guest service while supportingfellow Colleagues
  • Prepare and service all fooditems for a la carte and/or buffet menus according to hotel recipesand standards
  • Actively share ideas opinions andsuggestions in daily shift briefings
  • Maintainproper rotation of product in all chillers to minimizewastage/spoilage
  • Ensure storeroom requisitionsare accurate
  • Have full knowledge of all menuitems daily features and promotions
  • Ensure thecleanliness and maintenance of all work areas utensils andequipment
  • Follow kitchen policies proceduresand service standards
  • Follow all safety andsanitation policies when handling food andbeverage
  • Other duties asassigned

Qualifications:

  • Previousexperience in the Culinary field
  • Basic workingknowledge of knives and knife skills.
  • Workingknowledge of kitchen equipment to include but not limited to aslicing machine small wares equipment.
  • Workingknowledge of health safety and sanitationprocedures.
  • Working knowledge of weightsmeasures and various cookingtechniques.
  • Excellent customer serviceskills.
  • Professional appearance anddemeanor.
  • Ability to speak read and write inEnglish.
