Summary:
The Delivery Technician uses sales, service and education skills to ensure safe delivery, setup and proper use of equipment and supplies to clients/patients of the company. The Delivery Technician ensures prompt, professional and courteous service at all times, positively representing the company in the community.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Include the following, other duties may be assigned.
Maintain the warehouse including but not limited to the proper disposal, handling, and rotation of all products and supplies. Ensure that the warehouse complies with all general/safety requirements of all governmental agencies and within all company policies/practices Ensure the accuracy of all packing slips for product received, ensure product received was ordered and listed on the applicable purchase order. The product will then be received on the applicable purchase order and checked into the Brightree inventory system Label and place product in correct warehouse locations Assist in the equipment repair process including shipment/delivery of equipment Clean and maintain equipment according to manufacturer guidelines and company policies Report equipment hazards and/or product incidents as required in accordance with company policy Complete all electronic and/or paperwork as required in the delivery of supplies. Information must be turned into Warehouse Manager and/or Customer Service at the end of each shift. Information includes correctly submitting details such as manufacturer name, model number, serial number, lot number and any other specific identifiers needed for proper tracking and billing. Delivery ticket must be signed by the patient and/or designated facility/warehouse person. Maintain delivery/manifest records as required Perform all Brightree tasks that have been assigned to them. Pursue continuing education programs as required to perform job responsibilities in a professional manner Comply with all applicable company policies and procedures Develop and maintain working knowledge of current DME products and services offered by the company Develop and maintain working knowledge of applicable computer and related technology, including POD, inventory tracking and related applications All other tasks as assigned by manager or designee.Supervisory Responsibilities:

Education, Credentials, Certification, and/or Experience:
High School Diploma or GED 1 year of DME experience, preferably with experience in DME logistics, warehousing, inventories and point-of-delivery systems, as well as, best-practice business processes for proper maintenance and handling of supplies and equipment Experience with logistical (inventory/warehouse) programs, preferably using Brightree and POD systems Previous delivery experience strongly desiredKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Majority of time is spent operating vehicles to make deliveries of equipment and supplies, Significant time is also spent within a typical warehouse work environment. From time to time this position may require the employee to work a flexible schedule including but not limited to weekends, evening hours and over 40 hours.
