IGT is seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic, and hard-working Software Engineer III. Become a part of Vibe Studio located in lovely Reno, Nevada, where our dedicated team delivers innovative games to players around the world. This is an opportunity to work in a studio that creates high-performing and well-known video casino games. As a Software Engineer III you will combine technical expertise and creativity to bring the vision of mathematicians, artists, and sound designers to market. Further, you will contribute to the technical direction of the studio - by implementing and testing innovative tools & techniques to improve product quality and reduce time-to-market. Candidates must have a passion for game development, continuous improvement, software quality, and effective communication.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering or equivalent 
  • 4-5 years professional experience in software game development
  • Experience in Object-Oriented design and implementation
  • Excellent C#/C++ programming skills
  • Unity3D experience or equivalent
  • Familiarity with scripting languages
  • Self-motivated and team-orientated with a passion for developing high-quality games
  • Ability to work collaboratively in cross functional teams
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering or equivalent.

At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $55,177/yr - $156,700/yr. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.

 

Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program.  Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses .  In addition, we offer employees a 401(k) Savings Plan with Company contributions, health, dental, and vision insurance, life, accident, and disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, wellness programs, and identity theft insurance. Note: programs are subject to eligibility requirements.
