AS A MAINTENANCE ASSOCIATE A TYPICAL DAY INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING:

  1. Being part of a team that delivers an exceptional guest experience and drives sales through customer service
  2. Clean, sanitize and maintain stores salesfloor including floors, walls, baseboards, ceiling tiles, air vents, fitting rooms, touchpoints, and restrooms
  3. Clean, sanitize and maintain exterior of store including windows, doors, cart corrals and garbage/debris
  4. Clean, sanitize, and maintain checkout area including daily removal of hangers and touch-point sanitization
  5. Clean, sanitize and maintain break room appliances, light fixtures, water fountains and store fixtures
  6. Restock required supplies in restrooms such as soap, toilet paper and paper towels
  7. Keep garbage containers clean and replace bags as needed
  8. Perform general maintenance in store as necessary, including but not limited to replacing light bulbs, general equipment repairs, carpet and tile cleaning, minor painting, and miscellaneous repairs
  9. Perform all tasks safely and assume ownership for Guest and Associate safety in accordance with Bealls Inc. policies and procedures
  10. Monitor supply of cleaning products, restroom, checkout supplies, and communicate requests to Manager
  11. Understanding and usage of company standard software, systems, and procedures
  12. Performs other duties as assigned

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR IN A BEALLS FLORIDA MAINTENANCE ASSOCIATE:

  1. Work both independently and with a team to accomplish tasks, solve problems, and achieve goals
  2. Helpful attitude toward guests and other team members
  3. Attention to detail and follow multi-step processes
  4. Ability to work varying hours and schedules to include days, mid shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  1. Must have adequate vision, speech, hearing, and physical ability to perform essential job functions, with or without reasonable accommodations
  2. Must be able to lift, push, pull and carry at least 20 pounds
  3. Must have full body rotation and mobility (i.e. – bending, stooping, twisting, and reaching)
  4. Must be able to climb a 12-foot ladder for maintaining light bulbs and air vents
  5. Must be able to handle cleaning equipment (vacuum, broom, mop, duster, etc.) used for maintaining cleanliness and sanitization
  6. Must have full hand usage to operate hand tools
  7. Must possess reliable transportation
