The Opportunity 

Delaware North Sportservice is hiring seasonal Suites Supervisors to join our team at UBS Arena in Elmont, New York. As a Suites Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring all food service and hospitality operations are efficiently carried out while providing an exemplary guest experience.

Responsibilities 

Assist with the training and development of suite team members Inspect suites, kitchen, and storage areas to ensure that health and safety regulations are adhered to Supervise runners and suite attendants assigned to your area are set up and prepared according to their pre orders, suite assignments, and notes. Greet guests as they walk into their suites Oversee suites to make sure they are set up according to the food and beverage orders Make sure the runners and suite attendants have delivered all food and beverage needed up until that time and that they are staying in their assigned area Complete your check out assignments that consist of making sure all food is cleared from the suite, fridges and liquor cabinets are locked, and the suites are cleaned and organized

Qualifications 

Must be at least 18 years old. Minimum of 2 years of previous hospitality and high-volume dining experience required Strong knowledge of food and wine Basic knowledge of cost control measures and profit and loss Ability to problem solve and operate in a fast-paced environment Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends No college degree required

Physical Requirements 

Standing and walking for entire length of shift Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
