The role

Did you have your first experience in security infrastructure and you are looking to join a global team? Then we have a new vacancy that might be interesting for you: Infrastructure Technician. 
For our Infrastructure team based in Papendrecht, we are looking for an Infrastructure Technician to maintain and administer the IT Security of our site’s infrastructure. In this role, you troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve system, software and hardware problems related to Security and you work closely with the Service Desk team and Infrastructure Engineers to support infrastructure services. In addition, you track, monitor and communicate problems and business risks to ensure timely resolution and compliance. 
To be successful in the role of Infrastructure Technician, you are continuously working towards improving the security of our infrastructure, you connect our global Security Operation Centre (SOC), Infrastructure and Operations teams to ensure the high security global standards and you work on documentation of the infrastructure security, reviewing and updating SSPs (system security plans) . This is a role for an IT professional who wants to continue focusing on infrastructure security, who takes ownership of their work, but at the same time, they can work well in a team.

What you will do

Deliver security infrastructure services to agreed SLA. Troubleshoot/resolve problems associated with the security of the infrastructure environment.  Work with hardware/software vendors to resolve technical support issues.  Procure and replace hardware components when required.  Actively monitor the system security infrastructure to manage business systems and security risks.  Actively monitor the network environment.  Work with the following Key Processes: Even management: monitoring, measuring against SLA, triggering and reporting. Incident management: log all incidents and resolve as quickly as possible. Change management: process approved changes from Build into Run. Request management: manage all requests to resolution or escalation. Asset & Configuration management: manage resources and configurations required to deliver services to agreed SLA. 

What you will bring

HBO in IT, Computer Science or other. Equivalent work experience will also be considered in lieu of a degree.  IT Service Desk experience.  Technical certifications in Operating Systems, Microsoft Azure or equivalent.  Technical certifications Cisco CCNA or equivalent.  Ability to follow processes. Self-driven, motivated to succeed and provide world-class services to the business.  Flexible, hands-on and able to change priorities as they arise.  Ability to work on ‘stand-by’ duties for 1 week, every 6 weeks.  Able to utilize expertise and discretion to achieve objectives.  Demonstrated proficiency in thriving within a fast-paced, high demand environment.  Capable of efficiently collaborating in virtual team settings.  Adept in thorough documentation.  Fluent in both Dutch and English language, verbally and in writing.
