We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to join our team in Pittsburgh, PA . The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the architecture and engineering industry, with a proven track record in compliance, talent acquisition, and talent development. This role requires a BA/BS degree and a minimum of 10 years of experience in human resources. A professional HR license is preferred. The HR Manager will be responsible for supervising the HR team and ensuring the effective implementation of HR policies and programs.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the daily operations of the HR department, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, professional development, and performance management. Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Lead talent acquisition efforts, including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring top talent. Drive talent development programs to enhance employee skills and career growth. Manage and mentor the HR team, providing guidance and support to ensure their professional development. Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs and develop workforce plans. Handle employee grievances and disciplinary actions in a fair and consistent manner. Maintain HR records and prepare reports for senior management.

Qualifications:

BA/BS degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 10 years of experience in human resources, with a focus on the architecture and engineering industry. Professional HR license preferred (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP). Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations. Proven experience in talent acquisition and talent development. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Working Hours and Remote Work Options:

This position offers a hybrid work model, requiring a minimum of 2 days in the office per week. Standard working hours are from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
